Australia will still be considering the possibility of bringing Mark Viduka as the next technical director, according to Josip Skoko.Viduka is regarded as one of the greatest strikers for the national team and he represented the team in 43 games – over a 13 year period from 1994 to 2007. Even though the number of goals scored by the target man is not impressive at just 11,Viduka’s play often resulted in other players being able to score more easily. After his playing days saw him represent some of the top clubs like Leeds United and Newcastle United, he retired from action in 2009.

Recently, the striker has been making noises about the latter end of his time with the national team.Skoko has an extraordinary friendship withViduka, who has been a very reclusive person more than 10 years ago. The best period forViduka was when he captained the national team at the 2006 World Cup. After having played in some of the best tournaments, with some of the best players, and in some of the best leagues,Viduka has tremendous experience.
