Arsene Wenger relief pressuring from Ramsey

Arsene Wenger has attempted to take the pressure off midfielder Aaron Ramsey by saying that the Welsh international need not focus too much on scoring goals. Ramsey has emerged as a major player for Arsenal since last season.

Despite missing a chunk of the campaign, he was one of their top scorers in a season that finished with the FA Cup trophy. Ramsey has struggled to replicate the same kind of scoring form this campaign, as he has got just two goals in nine appearances this season. The pressure of scoring goals appears to have gone to newcomer Alexis Sanchez.

Postecoglou Takes all Blame upon himself

Australia was one of the few national teams of the 2014 World Cup that was not able to collect a single victory from the group stages but taking into consideration that the Australian squad had to go against: Spain, Chile and Netherlands, it doesn’t really come as a surprise that they struggled so much.

Postecoglou Disappointed Good Cannot Play

The Australian defender of Newcastle United, Curtis Good was named in the provisional 30 – man squad that were going to represent Australia during the 2014 World Cup but after sustaining a hip flexor injury and not being able to completely recover in time, Curtis Good was not able to play at the worldwide competition.

The coach of the Australian national football team Ange Postecoglou expressed his disappointment after knowing that Curtis Good would not be available to play at the recently concluded World Cup.
