HENRIQUE LEAVES BRISBANE ROAR IN MIDST OF FINANCIAL ISSUES

Brisbane Roar has had a lot of financial challenges for a while now, and a consortium is ready to buy the club.


The club’s cult hero Henrique has also decided to leave to join Malaysian Premier League side Negeri Sembilan. The Brazilian striker with 136 caps at the club was a regular in the three championship-winning sides with the Roar.

Henrique is the club’s second all time goal scorer with 39 goals including the winning goal against the Western Sydney Wanderers in the 2014 A-League grand final. He was grabbed a very important goal in extra-time in the 2011 grand final win over Central Coast.
