Potter happy with deserved draw against Southampton

A great battle between two South Coast teams finished as a 1-1 draw after Brighton and Southampton were able to pay a share of the spoils. After the game, Brighton manager Graham Potter did not have any complaints about the result, as he felt that both teams had two halves where they were able to dominate each other. Brighton were clearly the better team in the first half and the team was able to get a 1-0 lead thanks to Neal Maupay’s goal, which was assisted by Glen Murray. The home team came back in the second half and they secured a deserved equaliser in the 66th minute through Danny Ings.
